The Mango Red has the has the option of a Hepa filter. In our experience selling and repair vacuums, we have not seen a vacuum with a Hepa filter as effective as the Miele. - Power
- The Mango Red has a 1200 Watt Motor and an incredible 118 cubic feet per minute (cfm)! The high airflow can be attributed to the high performance motor and the sealed system that Miele provides on all their canister vacuums.
- Filter System
- The Mango Red comes standard with the Super Clean Air Filter. This is the an electrostatic filter that is loacted at the vacuums exhaust. Prior to the exhaust the majority of the dirt will be caught in the double layer HyClean FJM™ dustbag, then any fine dust particles will pass through a pre-motor filter. The pre-motor filter will catch all dust particles that may be too large to safely pass through the Miele vacuums motor. Last the remaining dust particles will pass through the Super Clean Air Filter. This filter will do a great job for the average household, however if you have severe allergies, the Hepa filter is optional and recommended. The Hepa filter as a certified S-Class H.E.P.A. filter, which removes 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns in size (HEPA filters sold separately).
